This festive season, Hay St is bringing Christmas flavours from around the world to Sydney for a month-long celebration. From delicious seasonal dishes to live performances and interactive activities, Hay St is set to be Sydney’s ultimate festive destination this December.
For the entire month of December, Hay St will serve up its specialised Christmas menu, featuring favourite festive dishes such as Brown Sugar & Orange Glazed Ham Ciabatta, Roasted Turkey & Pork Belly Sausage Roll, Prawn Cocktail, Boozy Fruit Mince Tarts, and Christmas Trifle.
Guests can toast the season with two standout Christmas cocktails served up at the Traders Bar. The rich and creamy Nutcracker, with rum, peanut butter whiskey, Frangelico, and cream, and the crisp, spiced Crimson Noel, a refreshing mix of rosemary gin, cranberry, cinnamon, and ginger beer.
The market will come alive with Hay St Sounds: Christmas Edition, featuring daily themed live music, Christmas carollers, and seasonal favourites until 21st December.
December 20 will see Hay St Sounds Special: A Very Bublé Christmas featuring all of Bublé’s smooth Christmas classics including iconic favourites like ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas’ and ‘Haven’t Met You Yet,’ along with all of his timeless holiday tunes.
As part of the festive line-up, families can join the Elf on the Shelf Treasure Hunt. A fun, interactive challenge where kids can explore the market to find five hidden elves and earn a free ice cream when they find them all. And during select weekends in December, Hay St Kids will host a range of activities, including face painting, Christmas cookie decorating, and a special wreath-making class as a bookable activity for families looking for a creative touch.
Hay St. encourages visitors to get into the spirit as it hosts an Ugly Christmas T-Shirt & Jumper Party Dec 20 with the night featuring Christmas movie trivia, live entertainment and prizes. Perfect for friends, colleagues, or families looking for a fun evening.
