Multi-Million Dollar Transformation of Paddy’s Markets Unveiled By PM

The highly anticipated Hay St Market at Paddy’s Market has opened its doors in Sydney’s Chinatown.
The doors opened for the first time on 26 March, but Prime Minister Anthony Albanese officially opened the newly transformed beloved Sydney icon this morning (9 April) alongside NSW Premier Chris Minns, NSW Opposition Leader Mark Speakman and Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore.
The transformation has been three years in the making and spans over 3,000 square metres of Paddy’s Markets. It is also home to over 48 traders, offering over 25 different cuisines.
